Nomidio is now available on Microsoft Azure – but what does this mean for you?
Nomidio IDP, the simple, app-free and scalable passwordless authentication service, is now integrated with the Microsoft Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).
Nomidio IDP is a biometric, multi-factor authentication service that offers the ability to biometrically authenticate users at scale, without significant up-front or ongoing costs. Delivered as a service from the cloud, Nomidio IDP can be deployed in less than an hour without hardware, without complex systems integration and without high ongoing costs of ownership.
But what does our integration into Azure AD actually mean for businesses and end users?
It firstly means that end-users can verify their identity when they log in to Microsoft 365, or any third party app built with Azure AD. Any Microsoft 365 user can easily and securely login by simply presenting their face and voice, removing the need for cumbersome passwords, authenticator apps or text messages.
Users can also continue to benefit from a Single Sign On (SSO) experience and can move between different applications and cloud services with ease, avoiding the need to authenticate every time access is needed to different Microsoft services.
It also means that organisations can now standardise biometric authentication across their business on Nomidio, as combined with our OpenID certification last year, a broad range of applications and cloud services that are used on a day-to-day basis are now covered.
